About Prague

How to get to Prague ( bus - taxi - train - car)

Prague-Ruzyne International airport is located approx. 20 km northwest of the city center approx. 30 min. by taxi). The airport is served either by taxi or public bus.
The Prague Congress Centre (PCC) has its own metro station (Vysehrad, Line C) and is located three stops south of down-town Prague.
 
From the Airport to the PCC
From the airport take bus no. 119 (which runs every 10 - 15 minutes) to Dejvická metro station (Line A). Take Metro Line A (direction Skalka) to the Museum; change to Line C (direction Háje). Exit at the stop Vysehrad (the second stop from the Museum). The Prague Congress Centre is next to the metro station Vysehrad. By bus and metro the journey takes approximately 45 minutes.
 
By Taxi to the PCC
By taxi, the Prague Congress Centre is 25 minutes away from the airport. The price for a taxi should not be higher than approximately 700 CZK (€ 22). Credit cards are not accepted. Cash is the only means of payment. AAA Taxis provide excellent service within Prague (phone no. +420 2331 13311).

By Train to the PCC
From the central station (Hlavní nádrazí) take metro Line C (direction Háje). Exit at station Vysehrad – this is the third stop from the central station, Hlavní nádrazí. The Prague Congress Centre is next to the station.        

By car to the PCC
Coming from Vienna, Bratislava, Brno:
Approaching Prague via the D1 highway (3 kilometres from the Prague Congress Centre) you will see the 1st sign to the Prague Congress Centre. The highway D1 leads to Trída 5.kvetna.
At the end of Trída 5.kvetna the Prague Congress Centre can be seen on the left hand side. The highway has three lanes; stay in the right hand lane. In front of the Prague Congress Centre take the exit to a roadway under Trída 5.kvetna which leads to the garages of the conference centre. 
 
Coming from Munich, Nuremberg, Pilsen:
Approaching Prague via the D5 (highway) turn right (direction Bráník, Barrandov) onto exit 1. After 15 kilometres you arrive at the Barrandovsky Bridge. In front of the bridge, take the lane to the right – direction Bráník. After crossing the bridge follow signs for Brno, Ceské Budejovice to the highway D1. Follow signs (direction) to Prague and after 5 minutes you will see the 1 st sign for the Prague Congress Centre.
The highway D1 leads to Trída 5.kvetna. At the end of Trída 5.kvetna the Prague Congress Centre can be seen on the left hand side. The highway has three lanes; stay in the right hand lane. In front of the Prague Congress Centre take the exit to a roadway under Trída 5.kvetna which leads to the garages of the conference centre.
 
Travel from the city center to the PCC
From Prague City Center (Wenceslas square) the Prague Congress Centre can be reached by metro Line C (direction Háje), exit at the second stop Vysehrad. The Prague Congress Centre is next to the station.
